Arizona State Prison Tucson Complex is known as the largest complex in the Department of Corrections Arizona. Comprised of eight units and situated on 640 acres Tucson Complex can house over 5,400 inmates, and has over 1,600 staff members.
The eight units that make up Tucson Complex are Catalina, Cimarron, Manzanita, Rincon, Rincon Minors, Santa Rita, Whetstone, and Winchester.
Inmate have multiple work opportunities including working with the humane society, habitat for humanity, in a food factory, and welding. Programs are available that teach inmates cognitive restructuring, domestic violence prevention, conflict resolution, and parenting courses.
