Arizona Department of Corrections requires visitors to complete a visitation application before they can visit. You must wait for your inmate to complete the intake process before you can fill out the visiting application. Start the process by doing the following:
- Complete an Arizona Visitors Application online. The application is also used to be on the approved call list for inmates.
- A background check is performed with the application.
- Complete the application and send in the background check fee of $25 (or complete payment online) with the required supporting documents within 30 days. If you do not send in the required fee and documents your application will not be processed.
- The application will be approved or denied within 60 days.
- The inmate will be informed of your application status once it is approved or denied, and it will be the responsibility of the inmate to inform you of approval or denial.
- Visiting hours are posted on the facilities page on this site. All visits are by scheduled appointment.
- Inmates are allowed a maximum of 20 approved visitors on their list.
A valid government issued photo ID is required in order to visit.
- No cell phones, pagers, cameras, or electronics of any kind. Secure these items in your car, or in a visitation locker if available.
- No tobacco products or lighters.
- No weapons, No drugs or alcohol, this includes having these items in your vehicle.

Dress Code and Visiting Rules
- No clothing made of spandex like material
- No clothing that is orange in color
- No see through or sheer clothing
- No medical scrub clothing
- No camouflage
- Visitors may not wear any shade of brown, no tan or khaki colors
- No shorts that are above the knee when standing
- No jogging shorts, cutoffs, or hip huggers
- Skirts and dresses must be knee length when standing, slits in skirts must not exceed mid thigh level
- No muscle shirts or tank tops
- No sleeveless shirts
- No tube tops, tank tops, or halter tops
- No cleavage to be shown
- Undergarments must be worn at all times
- No bare-feet, shoes must be worn at all times
- No sandals, slippers, flip flops, or open toe shoes
- No pajamas or nightwear
- No wigs or clip on hair (if worn for medical reasons you will need a supporting document)
- Shouting, speaking loudly, and profanity is prohibited
