Description of Facility

Arizona State Prison Complex Kingman is a minimum to medium security facility comprised of two units, Cerbat and Huachuca. Cerbat Unit is the minimum security facility that can house up to 2000 inmates. Huachuca Unit is the medium security unit with a capacity of 1508.

This is a privately run prison, that is run by the GEO Group.

Inmates have access to courses to earn a GED, and can participate in vocational training in carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, culinary arts, and commercial painting. Treatment programs are available in anger management, substance abuse treatment in the SMART recover program, parenting classes in the Inside Out Dads program, and domestic violence education programs.

Visiting Hours & Information

Anyone wishing to visit an inmate at Kingman Correctional must first be on the inmates approved visitation list.  You need to fill out an Arizona visitors application.  

After approval you will be able to then schedule an appointment to visit your inmate.

There are several different ways of visiting your loved one, including in person and video visitation.  In addition, ASP Kingman participates in Holiday Food visits which allow you to have a picnic with your inmate on days like Valentine's day, mother's and father's day, Veteran's day, Independence day etc.

All visitors are expected to follow the dress code and adhere to the visiting rules and regulations.  This includes what you can and cannot bring with you into the institution. For example visitors are allowed a maximum of $40 in loose quarters in a clear plastic bag to purchase items from the vending machine in the visitation area.  You can read all these rules in our guide to visiting an inmate in Arizona.
