David Wade Correctional Center is a mixed custody facility housing up to 1,224 inmates of minimum, medium and maximum security levels. The institution is comprised of ten housing units, five are general population units, four are administrative segregation units, and one is a protective custody unit.
While incarcerated, inmates can participate in educational courses that include the ability to earn an adult basic education and GED. Additional vocational programs include plumbing, welding, automotive repair, HVAC, and carpentry.
