Central California Women's Facility is the largest female correctional institution in the United States. Located on 640 Acres, the CCWF provides housing for an average of 2,800 female offenders. Central California Women's Facility is comprised of four sub facilities sometimes called yards.
Treatment programs include anger management, family relationships, substance use disorder, and other cognitive behavioral treatments.
Facility A houses inmates in reception, administrative segregation, short term restricted housing, and those on death row.
Some offenders can work on an almond farm located nearby through the California Prison Industry Authority.
